The Arc of Rensselaer County plans to use the recreation grant funds to allow adults and children with disabilities to attend events that would otherwise only be a dream. This year our participants were able to enjoy trips to the zoo including the Bronx zoo as well as the Utica zoo, going to the movies, trips to Lake George including rides on steamboats, participants also enjoyed numerous local fairs, Tri-city Valley Cat games, bowling, trampoline parks as well as an adventure at the Great Escape theme park.
